In the video titled “RFID & GSM Based Students Attendance System” provided by the Prateek YouTube Channel, the Smart Attendance System is briefly shown and explained. A demonstration is provided to display that when you scan a card on the reader, a message will be sent to the parent’s phone. The message provides the time and text stating that the student is present at school.
Next, the audience is guided through how to access and use the website. What to search on the internet and how to upload a file is given. Each component of the system is then provided along with the model number. Each component is clearly shown so you know which part is which. In addition, the inside of the system is displayed, clearly showing every part that goes into it.
The video then briefly recaps that scanning the card will send a message to the parent’s phone with the time and text saying the student is at school. They then continue on to show that when you rescan the card, it sends a message to the same number with the time and text saying the student has left the school.
Finally, it shows that each RFID card is unique to the student and that the scanner can register this information, correctly sending the child’s name and time to the proper parent’s number.
